It’s been a strange time for everyone with COVID-19 cutting the 2019/20 season short in March.
On the points per game method, the Reds finished 17th in Sky Bet League One in their second season at third tier level.
This was a huge feat considering many (outside of Accrington) tipped the Reds for relegation again!
August 15th 2020 marked a milestone as it was 50 years since Accrington Stanley played their first ever game at the Crown Ground which is now known as the Wham Stadium.
It’s testament to all the supporters, local businesses and owners in this time who have created the club we have today.
The work for the new season in the Commercial Department has only just begun due to the worldwide pandemic and our team only returning on 1st September 2020 after being furloughed for six months.
There is plenty to do to get ready for the new season as we await, from the Government and the EFL, the dates when we are allowed fans into stadiums to watch live football.

We have once again committed to working with global brand Adidas for the forthcoming season and, for the first time since the 2017/18 season, the club have launched brand new home, away and third strip which are available to purchase online and in person in our retail store.

Wham will continue as our principal sponsors on the front of shirts and stadium.
Last season, more than 1,400 people visited our Hospitality Suite and we were on track to smash through the previous year’s numbers.
Before Covid-19, we anticipated yet another increase on the income and attendees for this campaign but, due to now limited numbers with a maximum of 50 in our suite once fans are allowed back in the stadium, we would encourage our sponsors to look at the new Covid-19 Hospitality Packages for the new season to ensure we follow rules and regulations to ensure the Wham Stadium can be open for business.
We regret to inform you that our Stanley matchday experiences, which have received great reviews from both home and away fans throughout the last two seasons, will be put on hold until further notice due to current restrictions in place.
We WILL however continue to have our ‘Winners’ Hour’ but this will not be in the Redz Bar, it will be behind the Farleys Solicitors Stand and the Redz Bar will be for hospitality and invited guests only.
Funfair and Fireworks
We will also continue with our superb Funfair and Firework Display in November, numbers will be reduced due to Covid-19 restrictions. We will announce the date and numbers in due course.

Season tickets and sponsorship
Since the launch of the 2020/21 season tickets in March before the club entered hibernation, we sold 200. We are now at more than 1,000 and are on track to reach our reduced capacity of 1,535, under Covid regulations. To find out more about our season tickets click here.
For the 2020/21 season, we will be restricted to home supporters only within our Hospitality Suite, along with a reduced capacity of only 50 attendees.
We have 22 seasonal hospitality season ticket holders which leaves us with a capacity of 28 for all remaining games.
If you are a season ticket holder, we can take your booking at the reduced season ticket price and, as with any other bookings, these must be booked in a table of 6 due to the current Wham Stadium guidelines. To find out more information about our package here
The Stanley Big Screen is available for fans and businesses to add messages, pictures, announcements on the screen on a match-day from £25 with business packages and in-match action packages available from £500 + vat for the season. Game by game offers are available.

Due to the current climate our weekly lottery has still been taking place. As one of our main sources of income throughout the year, we are now looking for new members, current members to renew or to see if they could increase their numbers they have for our weekly draw.

Please also note, that the new Gold Bond (Accrington Stanley Lottery) is no longer supporting Blackpool FC youth development and is ran through the National Youth & Community Development Association which supports Accrington Stanley and other charities.
Finally for now, we would like to also announce that the Wham Stadium will be a fully cashless stadium. This will be implemented with immediate effect. Please note, we will no longer be able to accept cash within our retail store or any of the kiosk areas throughout the 2020/21 season.
