Accrington Stanley defender Joe Gubbins discusses the 2-0 defeat to Tranmere Rovers.

"It's a game that we feel like we should be winning as a team and everyone's come in very disappointed.

"There's a lot of things that haven't gone our way, obviously the red card, we've gone down to 10 men and it makes the game difficult as we progress.

"I think in the second half, we put ourselves about, gave it a good go, and we had good chances to get back into the game, so there's positives to take as well. We've got to take the positives and move on.

"It's almost like it was backs to the wall from the penalty. I haven't seen it back but I think it's harsh, it's one of them things.

"You've got to keep your head up and you've got to keep going. If we take those chances, maybe it's a different story and we're coming in happy.

"We have a good squad here. If we lose a player, there's players that can come in and make an impact.

"Those players have got to do that and it's obviously disappointing to lose players, of course, but it is what it is and we've got to move on.

"This is only one game; there's 37 games left, so there's plenty of points still to play for and we'll be back.

"Next week is a massive game against Stockport. We'll give it a good go, because we want the three points at home."
