In the absence of any live football at The Wham Stadium, the Official Accrington Stanley Supporters Trust (OASST) have been administrating a virtual 50/50 online half-time draw.
Over the past three weeks the winners have scooped up to £700 in the draw and over £500 has been donated to the local Hyndburn Hub, to support their efforts in helping the local Accrington community.
This week, however, the Supporters Trust are donating 25% of the total draw to the Accrington branch of the Royal British Legion.
In normal times the RBL would be celebrating the 75th anniversary of VE Day with fundraising in the town, obviously this will not be happening this weekend.
The Supporters Trust are hoping to be able to donate a significant amount to assist with the fine work RBL undertake with ex-serviceman & women.
The online draw tickets are on sale until noon on Saturday 9th May and are just £1 each, and can be bought at www.onstanleyon.com
