We are pleased to announce the clubs first sleeve sponsor as PlasticBoxShop. This will be featured in all 2017/18 cup games starting tonight with the Carabao Cup v Preston North End
PlasticBoxShop was founded by husband and wife team Gary and Lisa Lyons back in 2003. Having initially opened a housewares shop in the market town of Thirsk, they soon realised that there was a significant demand for the plastic boxes that they sold. With the internet still in its infancy, they launched PlasticBoxShop so they could supply their storage boxes nationwide. From humble beginnings, the PlasticBoxShop website has grown to be the biggest online supplier of plastic boxes to businesses, government institutions and the general public within the UK.
Founder and Director of PlasticBoxShop Gary Lyons said, “Having had the honour to sponsor Accrington Stanley over the last two years, I grasped the opportunity to be Accrington Stanley's first ever shirt sleeve sponsor. It seemed a natural route to take to keep our affiliation going with the club. Once again I'm looking forward to seeing the club have a great season and feeling part of the journey.”
Commercial Manager Daniel Bowerbank added, “Following a change of front of shirt sponsor this year, we felt that once we got the green light on this additional sponsorship it was a natural route for them to continue their sponsorship again for another season.
