Zehn Mohammed will spend the 2019/20 season on loan at Southport.
Mohammed signed his first professional contract with Stanley in May 2017.
The Blackburn-born centre-back, who went to Queen Elizabeth's Grammar School, used to play Sunday league football before having a trial with Stanley and signing at Under-16 level.
