An exciting opportunity has arisen to become a part of the Academy's coaching team

Accrington Stanley Football Club have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and driven individual to join the Accrington Stanley Academy (Category 3) as Youth Development Phase Lead Coach.

The accountabilities of the Youth Development Phase Lead Coach shall include:

  • Have responsibility for the organisation, management and delivery of the club's policies and procedures for the coaching and development of players in the Under-13 to Under-16 age groups.
  • Oversee the administrative duties for the Youth Development Phase needs, including management of records on the PMA.
  • In conjunction with relevant staff, plan, deliver and monitor the delivery of individual development plans for each player.
  • Manage the transition of Academy players to the Youth Team squad in accordance with the club's procedure.
  • Contribute to the multi-disciplinary reviews of all Academy players in the YDP and relevant players in the PDP.
