Young supporters attending Accrington Stanley's Good Friday fixture against Morecambe received a special Easter treat, as the club and Accrington-based training provider North Lancs Training Group (NLTG) teamed up to give away hundreds of Easter eggs!
Over 300 eggs were handed out before the game to Under-12s from both Stanley and Morecambe, with the young fans also posing for selfies, with NLTG's egg-stra special selfie frame.
Both the Reds and NLTG, who have been running the initiative together for three years now, are passionate about supporting their local community, with NLTG also involved in the club's annual big Shirt Giveaway.
Stanley's Managing Director, David Burgess, said: "What a day we had. It has been amazing to see so many young people receiving and enjoying their Easter eggs.
"It is a great activity to run before the game and it really brought the local community together once again here at Accrington Stanley."
NLTG Managing Director, Gareth Lindsay, added: "We are really proud to be involved in the Easter egg giveaway and thoroughly enjoy working with Accrington Stanley to support our local community.
