Accrington Stanley can today confirm that defender Harvey Rodgers has joined Grimsby Town.
Following a loan spell at the Wham Stadium during the 2016/17 season, the 26-year-old returned to East Lancashire twelve months later and then helped the club clinch the 2017/18 Sky Bet League Two title.
The defender, who joined the Reds from Fleetwood Town, made a total of 148 appearances and scored seven goals including a brace in last year's 4-2 EFL Trophy victory over Burton Albion.
Harvey said: "I've got the gaffer and Jimmy Bell to thank for giving me my chance in the Football League, which I'll be forever grateful for.
"I have loved every single minute of playing for the club, playing for the fans, and it's somewhere that I'll forever call home.
"The fans always stuck by me, even when I had bad games, and I will always remember the Clayton End singing my name.
"I want to wish the club well and hope they get back to League One, where I think they belong."
John Coleman added: "Harvey has been a great servant to the club and has always done really well for us.
"He has travelled a long way to play for us on a daily basis and we wish him all the best."
