Accrington Stanley have today completed the signing of defender Brad Hills from Norwich City on a season-long loan.
Born in Norwich; Hills joined City as a nine-year-old and progressed through various age groups at Carrow Road, with the 19-year-old recently signing a contract extension to remain at the club until at least 2025.
He made a total of 17 Premier League 2 appearances and scored three goals last season as The Canaries finished sixth, with David Wagner then twice including the defender in his first team matchday squad.
John Coleman said: "Brad comes with a good pedigree from Norwich. They have a good youth set-up there and he is probably the pick of the bunch, so we are delighted to get him on a season-long loan."
Brad added: "It's been a hectic few days. I found out a few days ago that I would be going out on loan, I spoke to John Coleman on the phone and the next thing I know I am packing my stuff.
"I need to be tested so a loan this season was perfect, so I am buzzing to be here.
"I need to use this as a stepping stone to prove to myself and the manager I can play for Norwich one day.
"I am excited to see what the league is about. I like to think I am good in the air, I love scoring goals and I enjoy winning headers which is my main threat."
