Accrington Stanley have today completed the permanent signing of midfielder Anthony Mancini on a short-term contract.
Born in Saint-Priest; Mancini began his career at Olympique Lyonnais, before joining Angers in 2018.
A move to Burnley followed two years later, with the France youth international then making 32 Premier League 2 appearances and was named on the first team bench against Tottenham Hotspur last season.
The 21-year-old, who left The Clarets in June 2022, also played 86 minutes for Ged Brannan and Andy Gray's Under-23s side in last week's 2-1 Central League victory over Wrexham at the Stanley Sports Hub.
John Coleman said: "Anthony has come in and impressed in training and the Under-23s game last week.
"He gives us something different; he's got a good left peg, a good footballing brain and hopefully he can kickstart his career with us."
Mancini added: "I'm excited, I'm ready for it and I'm looking forward to being involved in games."
The move is subject to EFL and FA ratification.
