Accrington Stanley’s Bristol Street Motors Trophy round of 32 tie against Lincoln City will now be played on Tuesday 12th December, 7pm kick-off; with tickets priced at £1 for the rearranged fixture.
Everyone at both clubs sympathises with the supporters who had made their way to the Wham Stadium, in particular those who travelled a significant distance, and it was a brilliant effort on a cold evening.
The late postponement has come at a significant financial cost to both clubs, as will completing the game.
Both clubs will share the costs of the postponement and the rearranged fixture:
- Tickets for the rearranged game will be priced at £1 for all supporters.
- Supporters can get a full refund and then purchase one at the new price if they wish.
- iFollow Stanley passes will remain valid and refunds can be requested via ifollow@efl.com.
We are grateful for everyone who made their way to the Wham Stadium, and apologise for the inconvenience and financial cost incurred.
Both clubs share your frustrations, but the above measures have been agreed through the two clubs working together in recognition of this.
The retail shop is open from 10am until 4pm between Monday and Friday.
Please note, no refunds will be available on Tuesday 12th December.
