UPDATE: Cambridge United matchday information

Supporters are encouraged to read the following matchday information

28 April 2023

With 24 hours to go until Accrington Stanley's Sky Bet League One fixture against Cambridge United at the Wham Stadium, we encourage you to read the following matchday information.

Coley, Jimmy and John lead the team out for tomorrow's final home game of the campaign, knowing that nothing less than three points are needed to keep the chance of League One football alive for next season.

Higher spectator numbers are expected to attend, with Stanley fans occupying both the Clayton End and Coppice End terraces, as well as the usual seated Jack Barrett Main Stand and Eric Whalley Family Stand:

  • Coley's will be open from 12pm for home fans.
  • Hospitality in the 1968 Lounge, The Snug and The Gallery are all sold out to capacity.
  • The OASST will be presenting their Player of the Year awards during the afternoon.

Turnstiles

The turnstiles will be open from 1.30pm, with bars and food kiosks open, including behind the Coppice End.

Coppice End Match Tickets

If you have bought a Coppice End match ticket and want to enjoy a pre-match pint in Coleys, you must leave the bar 15 minutes prior to kick-off via the main front door and then make your way to turnstiles 10 and 11.

There will be no entry into the stadium via the pitchside doors from Coley's leading into the Main Stand.

You will need to remain on the Coppice End throughout the game, including half-time, but once the players and officials have left the pitch at the end, you will be able to access Coley's via the pitchside entrances.

Please make everyone's job easier on the day by following the above directions.

Coley's Main Front Door

The main front door into Coley's will not be open for entry at the end of the game until after 6pm.

Supporters on the Clayton End terrace and in the Jack Barrett Main Stand and Eric Whalley Family Stand will have access into Coley's via the usual entry points before, at half-time and at the end of the game.

Coley's has a maximum capacity of 300 people and once reached at any time during the day, all doors into the bar will be closed until the numbers inside reduce.

Please respect the bar and door security staff at all times - it's the club making these decisions, not them!

Full-Time

Please do not enter the pitch on the final whistle, whatever the match outcome is.

We have another set of games next week, which will bring in much-needed income to the club.

Also, we do not want to have to identify you on CCTV and hand out stadium bans.

This is a strong message being sent out by the EFL and Lancashire Police.

Come On You Reds

Finally, the game is one of the most important in the club's recent history.

Please be patient throughout the day with all members of staff, as it is a big day for them too!
