UPDATE: What to expect in Coley's and the 1968 Lounge

Coley's and the 1968 Lounge will open on Saturday for their first fully-operational matchday

10 March 2022

This weekend will signal the start of a new era at the Wham Stadium as Coley's and the 1968 Lounge open for their first fully-operational matchday!

Please read the information below to help you get the best out of our new bar and hospitality facilities.

Coley's (Pre-Match) - Open at 12pm

You will not need a match ticket to enjoy a beer and pie & peas, watch the 12.30pm Sky Sports fixture (Barnsley v Fulham) and enjoy the atmosphere to the lead up to kick-off at 3pm.

Please note, Coley's will close for 15 minutes at 2.30pm whilst supporters leave via the main front door and enter the stadium through the Farleys Solicitors Stand (Clayton End) turnstiles.

Coley's pitchside doors, accessible via the HML Recycling Jack Barrett Main Stand between Blocks A to D will then open from 2.45pm onwards.

This process will ensure that only those with a valid match ticket or Season Ticket get to see the game from either the stands and terraces or inside Coley's, and those without a match ticket can still enjoy the pre-match atmosphere up to 2.30pm.

Coley's (Post-Match)

The pitchside doors will remain open throughout the match and at the final whistle for home supporters to enjoy a post-match drink, with the main front doors also reopening at the end of the game.

Sky Sports' 5.30pm game (Manchester United v Tottenham Hotspur) will be live on the 85" wall mounted TV screens inside Coley's and the bar will be open to everyone, both match-goers and those who simply want to enjoy a drink in the new facilities.

1968 Lounge - Open at 12pm

The 1968 Lounge will welcome pre-booked hospitality guests to enjoy a three-course meal, table service, preferred stadium seating, Jeff Brown as room compère, and an opportunity to hear John Coleman name his Stanley team to face Charlton Athletic.

Guests will be asked to wear wristbands to ensure they have easy access to and from the 1968 Lounge throughout the day.

Please note, hospitality guests will be invited through to Coley's at 6pm.

Fanzone Marquee - Open at 12pm

Our Fanzone Marquee will be open as usual and offer an ideal opportunity for both home and away fans to mix, with live music from 1pm.
