Accrington Stanley have today completed the permanent signing of striker Enock Lusiama from Daisy Hill on a one-year contract.
Lusiama, who came to England from Spain three years ago, has also played in non-league for Darwen.
Having impressed on trial, the 22-year-old has been rewarded with his first professional contract.
Manager John Coleman said: "Enock is a young lad who is living in Blackburn and he has worked hard and done well.
"He has got an opportunity to show what he can do at a higher level and we are confident he will flourish on the coaching he will get at Accrington."
Lusiama added: "It is a bit late in my career to sign my first professional deal but COVID-19 stopped me playing for a while. During COVID-19, I went working as a support worker in Preston.
"It’s exciting to get my first professional contract, I couldn’t believe it when the gaffer said he was offering me a deal. I had to compose myself. It’s a dream come true for me and I am buzzing.
"I am fast, I can score with my left foot and right foot, I am good with my head and I like to run into spaces.
"My challenge is to get into the first team and show everyone what I can do."
Enock's first interview video will be uploaded to the club's official YouTube channel later today, CLICK HERE to find out more!
The move is subject to EFL and FA ratification.
