TRIBUTE: Reds to mark Remembrance Day tomorrow afternoon

Stanley to mark Remembrance Day ahead of tomorrow's game against Plymouth Argyle

12 November 2021

Accrington Stanley's annual Remembrance Day fixture will take place tomorrow afternoon when the Reds welcome Plymouth Argyle to the Wham Stadium.

Saturday's pre-match ceremony will begin with the Royal British Legion (RBL) leading out both teams prior to kick-off, with the RBL Cadet Stewards making their way onto the pitch from the Clayton End to mark 100 years of the Accrington branch.

Both captains and the RBL will then lay wreaths in the centre circle.

The Piper will play the Last Post, which will then be followed by a period of silence that will start and end on the referee's whistle.

The ceremony will conclude with the Cadet Stewards leading the parade off the pitch to take the Accrington Royal British Legion into the next 100 years.

Please note, supporters are encouraged to make their way into the ground as soon as possible.

We will remember them.
