Calling all Accrington Stanley fans! It's a great chance to come and watch the Reds again (COVID-19 restrictions permitted) as we announce the first pre-season friendly of the 2021/22 campaign.
Stanley will travel to Northern Premier League Division One North West side Clitheroe on Sunday 4th July (KO 3pm).
The Reds had been training at Shawbridge towards the end of last season and recently took part in Clitheroe's Festival of Football.
It will be the first time since March 2020 that Stanley fans will be able to watch their team and everyone is hoping that, if restrictions have eased, there will be a bumper crowd to cheer on John Coleman's side.
Tickets will be available to purchase on the day of the game.
Manager John Coleman said: "We are already looking ahead to the new season and this is the first game as we prepare for our fourth League One campaign.
"Clitheroe have been really good with us during the latter part of the season, it's been good training there.
"It's local so hopefully plenty of Stanley fans will be able to come and support us, if restrictions have been lifted, and finally get to see us live again. We have missed the supporters and we can't wait to see them again."

- Under-18s - £4.
- Under-14s - £2 or free if accompanied by an adult.
