Accrington Stanley are on the road to success and Fagan & Whalley are extending their journey with the Reds.
The Road Transport business has supported John Coleman’s men for four years, being part of the success story as Stanley lifted the League Two Championship in 2018.
Now entering their fourth campaign in League One, Fagan & Whalley are along for the ride at the Wham Stadium, committing to another extended agreement on their short sponsorship, which will hopefully help fund future glory on the pitch.
Like many Road Transport businesses, Fagan & Whalley Limited started off with a single truck employed on small deliveries around our local villages. That was in 1927.
Today, six family generations and nearly nine decades in business later, they retain all the determination, spirit and drive of their founders and are a now a modern logistics provider, offering a first-class service with the highest quality equipment.
Fagan & Whalley Ltd say its true spark is their people and their ability to listen to precise customer needs, understanding of what is required and skill to respond with efficiency, friendliness and genuine care. They are proud of their heritage, and build relationships based on their core values.
Daniel Bowerbank, Commercial Manager said, “It is a pleasure to be able to announce the continuation of Fagan and Whalley as our short sponsors until the summer of 2023.
"They become the latest local business who has committed to supporting us off the field commercial through these challenging times. We are looking forward to seeing their logo on our first team and retail replica shorts as we look to enhance our growing partnership with Daniel Fagan, Graham Fagan and the team at Fagan Whalley as we share the same ethos.”
Fagan and Whalley Transport Director Daniel Fagan added, “ It’s a pleasure to continue sponsoring this historical football club that’s only a few miles away from our main depot. The club treasures their fans like we treasure our employees, without them we wouldn’t be where we are today. At F&W we like to think we’re just one big family and you get that ‘family feel’ on a matchday at the Wham Stadium. We’re proud to support this club’s journey as I know there’s a lot of hard work that goes into it. I personally can’t wait for the new season to start and fingers crossed the fans are back for the first game!”
