Studio have renewed their sponsorship deal of the Eric Whalley Family Stand for a further three years

26 March 2021

Accrington Stanley are delighted to announce that Studio have renewed their sponsorship deal of the Eric Whalley Family Stand for a further three years.

The Hyndburn-based company opted to renew their three-year stand sponsorship and continue their support for the Reds, as the club prepares to reopen to the public, with new bar areas, and high ambitions.

Studio are striving to support other local businesses and sports clubs. They had a very successful 2020, due in part to restrictions in the retail sector, and currently employ around 1,500 staff across all business functions.

Stanley's Chairman, Andy Holt said: "Last time we signed this deal our fantastic Eric Whalley Family Stand wasn't even built. We are absolutely delighted as a club to sign up Studio for another three-year sponsorship deal.

"We really appreciate and value their support, especially through the past 12 months when supporters haven't been able to watch the games at the stadium. We will keep pushing forward, and we will take this club to the next level whilst retaining that special Stanley atmosphere!"

Studio's Chief Executive Officer, Paul Kendrick commented: "It's amazing seeing how the club are growing and developing, and also giving back to the community. We're a growing business in the area, and Hyndburn's largest employer, so we want to give back locally too.

"You can often find our staff in the stands, one of our employees said to me that sponsoring Stanley was the best thing our company could do!"

Stanley's Commercial Manager, Daniel Bowerbank added: "It is great to announce an extended three-year deal for our Eric Whalley Family Stand with Studio, over the last three years we have built a good relationship with one of the biggest employers in the area as we continue to grow our community club brand.

"The past 12 months have been difficult for many businesses and for them to be able to commit to a long-term deal helps the club continue to progress commercially. We look forward to welcoming Paul and the team to the Wham as soon as Government restrictions allow."
