Commercial Manager Daniel Bowerbank has decided it is the right time to start the next phase of his career, leaving his role at Stanley at the end of June 2021 to become the new landlord of The Albion pub, less than a mile away from the Wham Stadium.
Dan has spent the last four years in his role at Accrington Stanley driving forward the commercial aspects of the club and ensuring that supporters, both home and away, had one of the best match day experiences in the EFL.
Managing Director, David Burgess said: “Dan arrived from Bury FC at a time when Stanley needed to increase commercial revenues. He did a great job in that area, and has been instrumental in the fabulous match day activities the club offers to both home and away fans, including the fan zones, bands, and the world famous ‘winners' hour.'
“We are sad to see Dan leave the Stanley commercial team and wish him well in his new venture as The Albion pub’s landlord.”
