BOXING DAY: Bumper crowd expected so please arrive early

Presentations before the match for John Coleman and Jimmy Bell's 20 years in charge of the Reds

24 December 2021

A bumper crowd of more than 4,000 supporters is expected to enjoy the Boxing Day festive fixture at the Wham Stadium against table-topping Rotherham United.

Stanley’s only home fixture over the Christmas period will also give the home supporters the chance to celebrate John Coleman and Jimmy Bell’s 20 years of managing the Reds over two spells.

A commemorative programme is on sale now and the management duo will receive presentations prior to kick-off.

The mixed Fanzone Marquee will be open from 12.30pm and ZACKoustic will be performing pre-match, with Mitch Hill then providing the post-match entertainment.

Fans are requested to arrive and get into the ground early to avoid close contact leading up to the turnstiles, which will open at 1.30pm.

As previously stated, supporters do NOT need to present their COVID passports or proof of vaccinations to enter the stadium.

Both home and away fans will be able to purchase tickets on Sunday, with tickets also available for the following games:
