Accrington Stanley suffered a 4-2 penalty shootout defeat to Burton Albion in the First Round of this season's Carabao Cup.
Lucas Akins opened the scoring for the hosts before the half-time break, with debutant Cameron Burgess then drawing the Reds level with eight minutes left of normal time.
In the shootout, both Joe Pritchard and Matt Butcher failed to score which allowed Neal Eardley to convert the winning spotkick and see Jake Buxton's side through to the next round.
