Lancashire Police Force Dedicated Football Officers (DFO), PC Ross Bosdorff and PC Sue Moore, continue to hold regular meetings with David Burgess (Managing Director) and Mark Turner (Club Secretary) to discuss the eventual resumption of football at The Wham Stadium.
Safety and the return of Stanley supporters are high on the discussion list between the club and the DFO’s in their regular meetings.
Stanley MD David Burgess said: “We meet with Sue and Ross on a regular basis to touch base and discuss the processes that may need to put in place to ensure the wellbeing and safety of everyone from players, staff and eventually, supporters when football returns to the Wham Stadium.
"We work very closely with Lancashire Police on all home and away games during the season and during these uncertain times, it is important that we have the right information and understand the best safe ways of delivering future games at Stanley”.
