Joe Maguire is back at home following his head injury in last night's 4-0 loss at Peterborough.
The left back had only been on the pitch three minutes as a sub when he took a close range blow to the head following a fierce shot.
There was a 12-minute delay while the medical staff of both Stanley and Peterborough dealt with Joe's injury.
Joe was taken to Peterborough Hospital and was discharged in the early hours of the morning and is now back home near Manchester.
The medical staff at Accrington will continue to monitor Joe.
