Last night Accrington Stanley held a successful FIFA night in the Redz Bar with six first team players competing against over 30 young supporters.
The event, which was held in partnership with Smyths Blackburn, was a free event and was fully booked within seven days of launching the initial event.
A great response also saw an additional waiting list put in place for this event.
In attendance were Ben Barclay, Lewis Gilboy, Reagan Ogle, Ross Sykes, Joe Pritchard and Joe Maguire, with all six players getting rather competitive on FIFA 20, both against each other and against the young supporters.
There were multiple awards given out at the end of the night with Daniel Cox winning a copy of FIFA 20 signed by the six players in attendance, after he reached the semi-finals before losing out to Pritchard.
Pritchard, who lost out in the final to Sykes, claimed the best goal scored award, with Jude Smith and Mitchell Johnson clinching the the top goalscorer and most clean sheets awards respectively.
The event was also supported by Zorba's Fast Food Takeaway and WDS Bury.
Stanley's Commercial Manager, Daniel Bowerbank said: "It was a great night and to see so many happy faces throughout the night.
"The night offered the chance for fans to play against their idols to see who could clinch the overall win.
"With 32 children in attendance the night started with three groups, with the top three young supporters progressing to the knockout stages.
"It was another great community event and we are looking to hold more events throughout the season.
"We would like to thank Jake, Nick and the team at Smyths Blackburn for supporting this event."
