The Reds have been shortlisted for the award ahead of this year's FSA Awards

Accrington Stanley have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Away Day of the Year award ahead of the 2019 Football Supporters' Association (FSA) Awards.

The 2019 FSA Awards in association with BeGambleAware will see 109 shortlisted candidates battle it out across 18 categories, recognising everything from the best players of 2019 to the best away days and fanzines.

Stanley have been shortlisted alongside the Premier League's Arsenal and Leicester City, the Sky Bet Championship's Cardiff City and Wigan Athletic, as well as fellow Sky Bet League One club Doncaster Rovers.

The other categories include Men's Player of the Year, Women's Player of the Year, Club Podcast of the Year and Supporter Liaison Officer of the Year, as well as 13 others!

The winner of the Away Day of the Year award will be decided by an FSA panel, but you can vote in 11 of the other categories by CLICKING HERE!

Voting is open until midnight on Saturday 30th November, with the awards being presented at the Tower of London on the evening of Monday 16th December.

Stanley's Commercial Manager, Daniel Bowerbank said: "It's great to see that the footings we have built over the last two-and-a-half years has been recognised in being nominated for the Away Day of the Year award.

"With our match day Fanzone along with both pre and post-match entertainment, we look to provide a day out for all the family when you visit the Wham Stadium.

"It is a testament to all the away fans who come to the Wham Stadium to follow their team and go away talking about the experience rather than the result.

"As we look to continue to grow the reputation of Accrington Stanley in being both a family friendly and community club, we are continuing to develop our match day experience for all the family."
