Accrington Stanley defender Aji Alese has today received an international call-up for the England Under-19s squad for their upcoming UEFA European Under-19 Championship qualifiers.
Alese, who has made six appearances for the Reds so far this season, will meet up with the England Under-19s squad following tomorrow afternoon's Emirates FA Cup clash with Crewe Alexandra.
While away on international duty, the West Ham United loanee could potentially face Luxembourg, North Macedonia and Bosnia & Herzegovina, with fixture dates below.
Luxembourg v England - Wednesday 13th November (1pm kick-off / 12pm kick-off UK time)
North Macedonia v England - Saturday 16th November (1pm kick-off / 12pm kick-off UK time)
Bosnia & Herzegovina v England - Tuesday 19th November (1pm kick-off / 12pm kick-off UK time)
The 18-year-old's international call-up now means that he will miss Stanley's away game against Rotherham United on Saturday 16th November.
