Accrington Stanley midfielder Joe Pritchard can't wait to get started after joining the club this afternoon on a free transfer.
The 22-year-old, who has signed a two-year contract with the club, expressed his excitement about being a Stanley player and that he can't wait to get minutes under his belt.
"It's class, I'm just really excited to get started on a new journey."
Pritchard, who joins from Bolton Wanderers, admitted he was keen to meet up with Stanley manager John Coleman as soon as he heard that there was an interest in him.
"When I was at Bolton last year they obviously had a few issues and stuff, so, as soon as I knew I could look elsewhere and see what my options were.
"My agent got a call and then let me know.
"I met with John the manager and had a little chat and stuff and I saw the interest with the conversation, and then it moved up from there."
The Watford-born midfielder also discussed his personal ambitions and goals for the upcoming Sky Bet League One campaign.
"Personal goals for me are simply playing games, I need the appearances definitely.
"For the team, I just want to get them as high up the table as I can.
"I play in the attacking midfield role so I would like to think that I could score goals and set up goals and help the team win games.
"The more you win, the higher you go."
