Accrington Stanley and Accrington Stanley Community Trust have come together in support International Women's Day to honour a local woman for their involvement within sport.
International Women's Day is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural and political achievements of women.
We want to honour a local woman for their involvement within sport, whatever the role may be, in which they have shown great commitment.
The winner will be welcomed to the Wham Stadium as a VIP guest for our home game against Walsall.
Nominees must be aged 16 years or over, and nominations can be made via email to: robert.houseman@leescarter.com in no more than 500 words.
