Sam Finley has signed a contract extension to remain at the Wham Stadium until at least 2021.
The midfielder joined Stanley in the summer of 2018 from AFC Fylde, and has impressed in his 34 appearances so far this season.
The 26-year-old has put pen to paper on an improved two-year deal, with the option of an extra year, to commit to the Reds.
"I'm delighted," said Finley. "It's been great since day one. Since I've come in all the lads have been quality, the gaffer, Jimmy (Bell) and John (Doolan) too, and the fans have been great.
"The gaffer took a gamble on me in the summer and I'd like to think it's paid off.
"I've loved it here so far, I've loved playing football here, and I'm excited for the future. I can't wait to see where we end up.
"It's a lengthy contract and that's down to the chairman. He likes that security and it's obviously great for me too.
"I took a gamble coming to the club. I think it's been well documented that I came here for a little bit less money than I was being offered elsewhere, so it was a bit of a gamble financially, but it's paid off in the end.
"I've had to prove myself on the pitch and hopefully we can continue to crack on and progress. I'm over the moon."
