Accrington Stanley have today made their second signing of the day and third of the summer with the arrival of defender Zaine Francis-Angol on a free transfer.
The 26-year-old full-back has signed a one-year contract with the option of a further year ahead of the 2019/20 Sky Bet League One season.
Francis-Angol began his career with Tottenham Hotspur, and spent time with Motherwell and Kidderminster Harriers before joining AFC Fylde in June 2017.
During the 2018/19 season, Francis-Angol helped the club reach Wembley Stadium in both the National League Play-Off Final and the FA Trophy Final, winning the latter 1-0 against Leyton Orient.
The defender is also an international for Antigua and Barbuda and has represented his country on 22 occasions.
Stanley manager John Coleman said: "Zaine is somebody that we've tracked for a while now and it's great that we've finally got him.
"He's had two good seasons at AFC Fylde, and got to the Play-Off Final and the FA Trophy Final last year, so hopefully he can carry on that form with us."
Francis-Angol is Stanley's third signing of the summer following the arrivals of Joe Pritchard and Colby Bishop.
