Stanley have been drawn against Oldham Athletic and Fleetwood Town in Group B of the EFL Trophy.
The dates of the fixtures against League Two Oldham and Joey Barton's Fleetwood will be announced at a later date.
One of these two fixtures will be played at the Wham Stadium, with a further fixture against one of the invited Under-21 sides also to be played at Stanley's ground.
The invited sides will be drawn live on talkSport on Friday 12 July at approximately 12.30pm.
The Premier League Under-21s teams involved in the Northern Section are: Aston Villa, Everton, Leicester, Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City, Newvcastle United and Wolverhampton Wanderers.
