John Coleman feels Stanley need to be more consistent at home for the remainder of the season, beginning with tonight's game against Oxford United.
Stanley have played 13 League One games at the Wham Stadium so far, with four wins, five draws and four defeats.
The Reds host the U's this evening (7.45pm KO), the first of four consecutive home games, but Coleman's focus is squarely on tonight's visitors.
"Over the last couple of years we've been very strong at home, but we've had a little bit of a mixed bag as of late here," said Coleman. "I think we can get it right, we've got four home games now, but we've just got to take them one game at a time.
"It's going to be a really difficult game against Oxford, we're expecting that, and we're prepared for it. After that we'll move on to the next opponent.
"We're not looking too far ahead. We've got plenty of games to play between now and the end of the season and we've got to try and pick up as many points as we can.
"We just want to try and win as many games as possible and see where that takes us. It's an unforgiving league. It's the toughest league in the sense that there's the most relegation spots, but we'll just keep battling away and see what happens."
Striker Paul Smyth and defender Ross Sykes were both monitored in training yesterday after being forced off against Sunderland through injury.
