John Coleman wants his Stanley side to bag more goals and kick on in League One following Friday's 2-2 draw at Sunderland.
The Reds had gone six league games without a goal before Billy Kee's 30th minute penalty at the Stadium of Light, his 11th goal of the season, put the Lancashire side ahead.
It was Stanley's first league goal of 2019 before loan striker Paul Smyth made it 2-0 seven minutes into the second half, and the Reds' boss is hoping that the pressure is now off his squad when it comes to goals.
"We've got to move on, try to create more chances and try to score more goals," said Coleman. "There's no point stopping at two.
"I was disappointed that we didn't win the game, but it's a difficult place to go and not many teams score two at Sunderland so from that point of view it was good and we've got to try and build on it.
"It was a relief to score, but it was disappointing that it wasn't enough to win us the game. We have to try and build on it and we know we're capable of scoring goals, we make chances on a regular basis.
"Maybe the pressure of not scoring for a while will be alleviated now and when we get into goal scoring opportunities we won't be as tense. Hopefully we'll take more chances now."
Stanley welcome Oxford United to the Wham Stadium tomorrow, with the sides scoring five goals between them earlier this season as the Reds twice came from behind to win 3-2 at the Kassam.
"I think both teams have changed a lot since then, and I don't think that will have any bearing on the game tomorrow," said Coleman.
"We know it's going to be a difficult game and we expect every game we play between now and the end of the season to be difficult.
"We know we're capable of putting in good performances and hopefully we'll put another one in tomorrow."
