John Coleman says the Stanley supporters can play a crucial role in helping the club achieve it's aim of League One football next season.
The Reds, two points above the relegation zone in 17th place, host second-from-bottom Walsall at the Wham Stadium on Saturday, knowing that victory will go a long way to ensuring their survival in a tight contest at the foot of the table.
Just five points separate ten teams from the Saddlers in 23rd to Shrewsbury Town in 14th, and the Stanley boss knows just how important the Reds fans will be.
"I think our fans have been fantastic," said Coleman. "We possibly need a little bit more at the game on Saturday.
"We need a show of strength from our fans. It's great having the big flag shows, and they are magnificent when they pull it off, and we need them now.
"We need every show of support that we can get, be it visual or vocal. I know the players will respond to that so it's a big call out to our fans.
"I know they've never let us down in the past, the ones who come are absolutely magnificent, and hopefully they'll get out in force and show how much they want to stay in League One as much as we do.
"The lads know what this means for everyone, and I think they're feeling it. Sometimes it can get you a little bit too edgy, but we've got to overcome that and I'm sure we will."
Coleman admits it is difficult to draw a line under Tuesday's home defeat against Rochdale, in which the Reds dominated but came undone after an Ollie Rathbone goal against the run of play 20 minutes from time.
"We've given it a good go and we've played as well as we can under the circumstances," he said.
"I thought we played the game with a great tempo, but for a couple of five-minute spells, not even the one that they scored in because I think we were on top when they scored.
"They had a five-minute spell at the start of the second half, but we've dictated the pace of the game, we've made the run, we were the aggressive team. We've controlled the game for large parts and made the best chances but unfortunately they've had two shots on our goal, one of those goes in, and we lose the game.
"We won't be the only team who's suffering with that at the moment, and so we've got to move on now to the next game on Saturday and that's our prime focus.
"We'll move on, we'll be positive and we'll try and find a way to win on Saturday."
