John Coleman has called tomorrow night's clash against Rochdale as 'the biggest game of my life.'
Dale are in 23rd spot in League One on 42 points with 17th placed Stanley three points ahead of them.
It's a tightly packed league and, with other teams not playing, it's a chance for both sides to move up the table.
Brian Barry-Murphy has been appointed the permanent Dale boss following Keith Hill's departure at the beginning of March and their form has picked up of late, suffering a late loss to Sunderland last Saturday.
"I made a statement to the players saying this is the biggest game of my life," said Coleman. "It's not the Rochdale connotation, it wouldn't matter who we were playing.
"We worked so hard to get into League One and this is a chance of taking a giant stride to stay in League One.
"I remember the Yeovil game this time last season where we needed to win to secure promotion. We had a few other chances if it didn't materialise so it's a similar process to now.
"The performance we put in against Yeovil was one of the best performances I have seen from one of my teams, it was magnificent, and I hope history can repeat itself.
"It is so tight down at the bottom. I think the bottom four changed 15 times on Saturday - that's how tight it is.
"We got a point at AFC Wimbledon and I think we will only know if it's a good point in May."
