Accrington Stanley have appointed four first team players to become Player Ambassadors.
Reds captain Seamus Conneely, defender Mark Hughes, midfielder Scott Brown and striker Billy Kee will all work with the Accrington Stanley Community Trust (ASCT) to help with their community initiatives.
Each player will become an ambassador and role model in the local community, and represent one of the ASCT's four key themes - education, sports participation, health and social inclusion.
The ambassadors will be the public figurehead of a number of different schemes run by the ASCT and endorsed by the Professional Footballers' Association.
Speaking about the PFA-led scheme, Conneely said: "It is great to get out there and give something back to the community.
"We often go into schools helping to deliver coaching and taking part in question and answer sessions and the children always look thrilled when a professional footballer comes into their school.
"It is great for us to engage with them, and with myself and three other players now acting as ambassadors for our club we are looking forward to continuing our player appearances this season."
