Accrington Stanley beat Morecambe 4-0 at Kendal Town to progress to the next round of the Lancashire Senior Cup.
Two goals in each half saw a much changed Stanley comfortably beat a young Morecambe side.
First half strikes from Andy Mangan and Piero Mingoia put Stanley 2-0 up at the break, before goals from Connor Hall and Offrande Zanzala put the Reds out of sight.
John Coleman used the opportunity to give his squad players extra minutes with none of the starting XI from the 1-1 draw against Fleetwood on Saturday involved.
Stanley took the lead in the 28th minute when Danny Williams spread a cross-field ball to Mingoia on the right, who crossed to an unmarked Mangan and the striker volleyed back across goal to give the Reds the lead.Stanley continued to grow into the game and they extended their lead shortly after as Mingoia latched on to a Hall through ball, before cutting inside to blast a left footed shot into the bottom corner.
The second half burst into life with the introduction of Zanzala for Harvey Rodgers and a change of system for Stanley.
Moments after coming on, Zanzala was brought down in the box and Hall stepped up to dispatch the penalty into the bottom left corner.
In the 71st minute Zanzala got himself on the score sheet with a well worked goal after dribbling into the box and striking a left foot shot past the goalkeeper.
Stanley were never really threatened with goalkeeper Jonny Maxted having little to do.
The Reds could have extended the lead as the game drew to a close but Hall's header was saved.
