Accrington Stanley Football Club have gifted local company, Studio, with an engraved plaque as a symbol of thanks for their stand sponsorship.

Studio (Express Gifts Ltd.) announced their three-year deal to sponsor the brand-new stand at an #AmazingAccrington meeting earlier this year. The team were invited to Accrington Stanley Football Club this week to collect the plaque.

Sharon Benson, HR Director at Studio, commented:

“We are incredibly proud to be sponsoring the family stand at our local football club. We are pushing an initiative now to increase our engagement with local people, businesses and charities and the decision to sponsor reflects that. We know how important the club is to the community and wanted to show our support of redevelopment throughout the borough, especially if it will encourage families to come along and watch Accrington Stanley live in action. The engraved plaque is a thoughtful gift from the club that will be displayed proudly on the wall back at the office for a long time to come.”

Studio, established in the 1950's, are turning over £400 million annually, supply to 1.8 million customers and employ 2400+ people in peak periods. As one of the borough's largest employers, they are keen to form and maintain connections within the local community. Sponsoring and supporting local clubs and events is a pivotal part of that.
