Stanley spot king Billy Kee got the ball rolling as the Reds recorded a 3-1 victory over Bradford City at the Wham Stadium.
On the 50th anniversary of the club's reformation in 1968, Kee opened the scoring on 39 minutes before man of the moment Offrande Zanzala doubled the score after half-time.
Eoin Doyle got one back for Bradford but Sean McConville gave the Reds some breathing space as they moved back into the play-off positions.
Stanley started well with two early shouts for a penalty after in-form striker Zanzala went down in the area while McConville's curling effort wasn't far off.
Bradford's first real chance came on 27 minutes with Doyle's goalbound effort deflected just over and the striker had a free header which he guided off-target a minute later.
It was end-to-end with McConville firing narrowly wide from the edge of the box.
Stanley were awarded a penalty on 36 minutes when Ryan McGowan was judged to have handled the ball in the area with Zanzala pressing.
Bantams manager David Hopkin went into the book for complaining about the decision before Billy Kee fired home the penalty for his sixth goal of the season on 39 minutes – four of them from the spot.
Stanley went on the hunt for the second with keeper Richard O'Donnell denying McConville and then superbly keeping out Kee's point-blank header on the stroke of half-time.
Zanzala, who has now scored four in four games, made it two on 54 minutes when he raced onto a McConville pass around 25 yards out, ran forward and slotted it past O'Donnell.
Bradford's Kai Brunker thought he had got his team back in it but keeper Jonny Maxted got down low to deny him on 57 minutes and the appeals for handball in the follow-up were waved away.
The stopper also denied George Miller but could do nothing about Doyle's blast on 62 minutes, as the striker got the ball around 15 yards and belted it into the back of the net.
However, Stanley soon restored their two-goal advantage when Jordan Clark poked the ball through to McConville who raced forward and slotted home on 66 minutes.
O'Donnell denied Clark and McConville while McConville flashed an effort wide near the end as Stanley celebrated another milestone in the club's history.
