John Coleman has cup competitions on his mind - starting at Blackpool in the Checkatrade Trophy tonight.
The Reds have already made it through to the knockout stages after two wins in their opening two group games.
This is their final group game before the last 32.
"We are going to try and win the game," said boss John Coleman. "We want to try and keep on a winning streak, we have won our last two, and hopefully we can get another win under our belts.
"The lads who have played in the Checkatrade so far have done really well so it will be another opportunity for them.
"As a professional footballer, or any kind of footballer, you want to win games and we will be going there trying to win the game.
"I know Blackpool boss Terry McPhillips really well. I think they can still qualify if they win so we have just got to give it our best shot tonight."
Coleman also talked about the Emirates FA Cup Second Round draw which saw his side face either National League side Ebbsfleet or League Two Cheltenham at the Wham Stadium.
"We couldn't have asked for anything better than a home draw," said Coleman. "Every game we play will be tough, people raise their game for the FA Cup, we know that, but you want to be at home so that's the pleasing aspect.
"I guess we are one of the glamour ties now at this stage but we have to just take it when it comes and just focus when you have to."
The Stanley manager had words of praise for the Stanley youth team too, after they progressed to the Third Round of the FA Youth Cup, where they will face Leeds United at home.
The Stanley youngsters battled with 10-men for a large part of the game but Lewis Gilboy scored twice to see off Notts County last night.
"I was delighted for them," said Coleman. "I get really excited for them on these games, they have ran themselves into the ground.
"It's a shame they got a man sent off as they were dominating the game and scored a great goal and were playing some good football. Then it was backs-to-the-wall but it was a great effort and I am pleased for them.
"They have always done well since I have been here in the FA Youth Cup and it's a big game now against Leeds and I am sure they will be relishing that opportunity."
