Reagan's Wembley chance

21 March 2018

On loan Stanley defender Reagan Ogle is one game away from fulfilling a dream of playing in a Wembley cup final.

Ogle, 18, joined Wealdstone FC on an initial one month loan deal in February, his stay with the Vanarama National League South outfit has since been extended by a further month.

And, on Saturday, the Australian-born defender and his teammates have a chance to secure a place at Wembley to contest non-league's biggest prize when they host Brackley Town in the FA Trophy semi-final second leg.

The Stones will have to overturn a 1-0 deficit from the first leg but will have home advantage and are expected to be backed by a bumper crowd at St Georges Stadium.

"We can definitely do it at home," said Ogle, who has made three starts during his loan spell. "We are a strong side at home and we are hopeful that we will backed by a good home crowd. I think we can turn it round, the first leg was very close.

"It would good to get to a Wembley final at just 18, it's not something that everybody gets to experience in their career.

"There's some experienced heads in the changing room and a couple of lads that have been at some big clubs, it's been a good experience for me and Wealdstone has been a good club to be around."
