Ripley to make debut

Goalkeeper Connor Ripley will make his Accrington Stanley debut in today's Sky Bet League One fixture away at Bristol Rovers.

John Coleman has made two changes to the side that were beaten by Gillingham on the opening day of the season.

Ripley starts between the sticks after joining the Reds on loan from Middlesbrough on transfer deadline day.

Offrande Zanzala starts up top alongside Billy Kee after Kayden Jackson departed for Ipswich Town for a club record transfer fee received.

Jonny Maxted replaces Tony Warner on the substitutes bench, alongside summer signings Andy Mangan, Piero Mingoia, Sam Finley and Matty Platt.
