Stanley twice came from behind to secure a 3-2 win at Oxford - with a Billy Kee double and a first senior goal for Ross Sykes.
United, who have yet to take a point this season, twice took the lead but it was a Kee penalty which sealed the victory 11 minutes from time.
The win makes it two wins out of two on the road for John Coleman's men and they have now taken seven points out of the last nine in their first season in League One since 1960.
Oxford started well and Stanley had a let off in the second minute when Jon Obika fired over in a good position.
The Reds grew into the game and had a number of free kicks around the box which they couldn't capitalise on but they came close to opening the scoring on 22 minutes when Callum Johnson's ball in found Sykes but he headed just wide.
However it was Oxford who took the lead on 27 minutes when Gavin Whyte's right foot strike from just outside the box found the top of the net.
Whyte came close to doubling his tally on 38 minutes but his strike found its way onto the woodwork and out to safety.
Stanley drew level on 42 minutes when United failed to clear Sean McConville's free kick and Sykes hooked the ball home - the teenager's first league goal on his fourth consecutive league start.
The Reds could have trailed at the break as a James Henry effort was just over the bar but the half ended all-square.
Stanley came close to taking the lead after the break with Sam Finley forcing a save out of Jonathan Mitchell on 49 minutes and then the stopper again denied the midfielder two minutes later.
Coleman brought on Offranda Zanzala and Nick Anderton but it was Oxford who struck next.
West Ham loan signing Marcus Brown raced down the left, cut into the area and his fierce strike found the roof of the net on 57 minutes.
But Stanley struck back on 62 minutes, Finley finding striker Kee ten yards out and he got off the mark for the season, smashing the ball home.
The Reds went for the winner, Finley firing just wide while Zanzala could only find the side netting on 76 minutes.
However Jordan Clark was fouled by Josh Ruffels in the area and Kee made no mistake from the penalty spot on 79 minutes to put Stanley ahead for the first time.
It was end-to-end in the last ten minutes and Zanzala had the ball in the back of the net but it was ruled off-side while Connor Ripley denied United's Sam Smith in injury time.
Stanley celebrated all three points and will look to make it three consecutive league away wins at Blackpool on Saturday.
