There were plenty more ups than downs as Accrington Stanley's Community Day for the visit of Blackburn Rovers was a huge success!
The centre of the day last Saturday was a funfair provided by John Collins Funfairs, there was also live music from Maelor Hughes and The Fuse, there was the Bowland Brewery bus, the Community Trust stand with club mascot Winstanley in attendance along with Pretty Sparkles undertaking the face painting.
The day was a huge success with an attendance of over 2,700 for the game, which Stanley won 1-0 in their final pre-season friendly before the big League One kick off on Saturday at home to Gillingham.
