Accrington Stanley moved up to second in Sky Bet League Two, producing a fine performance to beat Barnet 4-1 at the Wham Stadium - on the day that the club paid tribute to Academy player, Jordan Moseley.
Goals from captain for the day Sean McConville and Jordan Clark either side of half-time put Stanley two to the good, before Jamal Campbell-Ryce's strike got the visitors back in it.
But just minutes later Billy Kee struck his third goal in a row to put distance between the sides, with Kayden Jackson making it four as he fired home in the 66th minute - to finish the Bees off.
The match was attended by the family and friends of Academy player Jordan Moseley as Stanley paid tribute to the 15-year-old who sadly lost his life - several of his Academy team mates joined the players and officials in a period of applause in the centre-circle prior to kick-off.
Stanley made a fast start and thought they'd taken the lead in the fourth minute when Scott Brown's dipping effort to a wicked deflection and had to be tipped over the bar by Craig Ross in the Barnet goal.
Ryan Watson registered the visitors first shot on-target, a strike from distance that forced Chapman to beat it away with both fists.
Brown worked Ross once more the formers header from inside the area forcing him into a superb reaction save but in the 35th minute the pressure told as Callum Johnson, making his first league start, put a ball into the box which fell kindly to McConville to take a touch a lift the ball into the roof of the net. 1-0.
Seconds later Barnet had a perfect opportunity to restore parity, Jack Taylor was brought down inside the area, referee Mark Heywood pointed to the spot but Jamal Campbell-Ryce could only crash the spot-kick off the bar and to safety.
It was Barnet who had the first clear chance of the second-half, Watson's low free-kick came through a sea of bodies but Chapman was able to get down and parry it to safety.
The Reds doubled their advantage with their first attempt of the half, Jordan Thorniley's searching ball into the box fell nicely at the feet of Clark who was able to swivel and fire a shot beyond Ross - his third goal in as many games. 2-0.
In the 54th minute Barnet found a way back into it, the lively Taylor carrying the ball towards goal before squaring for Campbell-Ryce to make amends for his penalty miss, slotting home from a tight angle. 2-1.
On the stroke of the hour-mark Stanley's two goal advantage was restored, Clark turned provider to slip-in Billy Kee and the striker confidently slide home his 11th goal of the season, and his third in as many matches, too! 3-1.
Stanley were rampant and scored again through Kee's strike partner Jackson in the 66th minute, making amends for a miss seconds earlier, as he rounded Ross to score into the empty net, to make it a comfortable finish for the Reds. 4-1.
