Sean McConville says this weekend's clash with Coventry City is the 'perfect chance' for Stanley to bounce back from Saturday's loss to Luton.
Coventry currently sit one place above the Reds in fifth, but the two sides have identical records in the league so far, both winning seven games and taking 23 points.
The Sky Blues were relegated from League One last term and will bring a big following to the Wham Stadium and McConville hopes for another great atmosphere.
"The camp's been a bit low as it is after every defeat," he said. "I don't think there was anything at all between the two sides in the first 20-25 minutes on Saturday, once they scored they got on top for a short period but I thought that we came back well and had a real go in the second half.
"It was probably just that 20-minute spell before half-time where we lost the game, which we'll learn from we're still a young side. But we need to learn quick as this is an unforgiving league, we've got another big game coming up and a perfect chance to put it right.
"It has the makings of being a very good game, Coventry are a massive club at this level they'll bring a good following. Mark Robins always has his teams set-up well, they've got some very good players at their disposal but so have we, this week we'll be concentrating on ourselves and how we can hurt them.
"The week after a disappointing defeat can drag, there's nothing better than when you've got a game straight away on the Tuesday and you can go and get it out of your system really quick. But we'll use the week to make sure we are mentally and physically prepared."
McConville, who penned a new deal in the summer himself, believes that the club has made a huge statement of intent by tying down 8-goal striker Billy Kee to a new long-term contract earlier this week.
"It's massive for the club," said the 28-year-old. "As somebody who's signed up for a couple of years myself - there's nothing better than seeing top quality players like Billy staying on for longer too.
"It shows the ambition that we've got, the ambition that the owner has and all of the staff here, we're a club on the up and we won't just settle for giving players a one year deal and watch them move on.
"There's an infrastructure in place with players on long-term deals, we're building a team that can get out of this league and can go and be very competitive in the league above."
