John Coleman and Billy Kee have been nominated for the Sky Bet League Two Manager and Player of the Month awards for September.
The Stanley manager has been nominated after overseeing five wins in League Two last month including back-to-back away victories at Port Vale and Forest Green.
Coleman is nominated alongside Notts County's Kevin Nolan, Exeter's Paul Tisdale and Mark Robins of Coventry City. The Sky Bet press release reads as follows:
Forward Billy Kee has been recognised for his performances in September that saw him register five goals including a decisive double as Stanley came from behind to win 2-1 at Port Vale last week.
Kee will be up against, fellow strikers Shaquille Coulthirst [Barnet] and Uche Ikpeazu [Cambridge] while Stevenage full-back Joe Martin has also been nominated. Sky Bet described Kee's performances as:
"Five goals in seven games for the Northern Irishman is impressive enough and then you add in the superb control and finish he demonstrated against Chesterfield. What really stands out is that his goals either equalised or put Stanley ahead."The winners of both awards will be announced at 6am on Friday morning and you can find out whether Coleman or Kee have scooped the prize on both our Facebook and Twitter pages and our website.
