The Football University become the latest business to support Accrington Stanley and show its support to the academy.
The Football University is delighted to add Accrington Stanley FC's Academy to its Professional Partnership Network. The network creates tangible links in order to create real life work experience placements for their students so they can experience life in an Elite academy environment and add this to their CV as part of their own CPD and employability.
The Football University specialises in the topic of Coaching and Development for College graduates pursuing a career in professional football or football development. Students undertake 2 days of lectures at our Northern Campus which services the Greater Manchester areas. This is then supplemented by compulsory hours of work placement within a Professional Football Academy.
Our new partnership with Accrington Stanley will see The Football Universities Head of Football coordinate placements across all age groups of the club's academy, ensuring all stages of player development are visible to students. Students will shadow and support the academies UEFA qualified coaches and gain a real insight into how professional coaches operate in line with EPPP.
