Clark signs new deal

24 July 2017

Jordan Clark has signed a contract extension which will keep him at Accrington Stanley until 2019.

The 23-year-old winger came to the Wham Stadium in August last year and, after securing his place in the team during the campaign, scored three goals including the winner against Plymouth in April.

Clark originally signed a one-year deal with a one-year option and follows on from captain Seamus Conneely who has also signed an extension to his current deal.

Stanley boss John Coleman said: "I am delighted Jordan has signed a new deal. He came to us at the start of last season and has worked hard to earn his place in the first team.

"He scored three goals and will be hoping to increase his goal tally this season while providing a good number of assists. He is a lively and important member of the squad."
