Jonny Edwards knows this is a big season for him after signing on a season-long loan with Accrington Stanley.
The 20-year-old signed a new deal with Hull City in the summer, a one-year contract with a one-year option.
He was with the Reds from January last season, scoring his first and only league goal at Doncaster, and is now looking forward to starting the new campaign with John Coleman's men.
"I didn't get much game time at Accrington last season as the team were doing so well which I understood," said Edwards.
"I signed a new deal at Hull in the summer and was going to stay and challenge for a place there but they wanted me to go out on loan and Accrington is the ideal place for me, having previously been here.
"It has been easy coming back as I haven't had to have the settling in period, I know everyone and have settled back into the house in Kirkby.
"It's good to be here from the beginning and hopefully I will hit the ground running. It's a fresh start for me and it is an important season."
